LiFePO4 Batteries & Battery Management System

Power LiFePO4 Batteries

Wimac battery-powered transfer carts can be equipped with LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery systems to provide reliable, efficient and low-maintenance power for rail-guided or free-moving material handling applications. Compared with conventional lead-acid batteries, LiFePO4 technology offers higher energy efficiency, longer service life, faster charging and reduced maintenance requirements, making it well suited for intensive industrial operations.

A Battery Management System (BMS) is an electronic control circuit that protects and monitors rechargeable batteries to ensure safe and efficient operation.

01

Monitoring — monitors cell voltage, current and temperature in real time.

02

Protection — protects against overcharge, deep discharge, short circuit and overheating.

03

State Estimation — calculates battery charge level (SoC) and health condition (SoH).

04

Cell Balancing — balances cell energy levels for uniform performance and longer battery life.

05

Thermal Control — regulates battery temperature to keep operation in a safe range.

Custom Load Handling Equipment

Custom Load Handling Equipment

Transfer cart top platforms are engineered around the load: V-supports for pipes and shafts, motorized rotator supports, tilting frames and other custom load handling equipment are designed and built to order.

Transfer Cart Integrated Safety Systems

Safety Integrated Safety Systems
  • Laser Scanner: continuously scans the cart's surroundings to detect obstacles and help prevent collisions. The system can automatically reduce speed or stop the cart when a hazard is detected.
  • Ultrasonic Sensors: detect nearby objects by measuring distance with ultrasonic waves. They provide additional close-range protection and can trigger automatic slowing or stopping.
  • Safety Bumpers: installed at critical impact zones to provide physical protection in the event of contact. They help minimize collision risks and protect both the cart and surrounding equipment.
  • Laser Safety Light: projects a visible warning line around or in front of the cart, clearly indicating its operating zone and movement path to nearby personnel.
  • Warning Light: flashing or rotating warning lights provide a clear visual indication while the transfer cart is operating or moving. These technologies combine into a multi-layer safety system, improving personnel awareness, obstacle detection and collision prevention in industrial environments.
